Charles Rennie Mackintosh [Charles Rennie Mackintosh]
(1868–1928) a Scottish ↑architect and ↑designer who produced buildings, furniture and decorative objects in the ↑art nouveau style. His best-known building is the Glasgow School of Art (opened 1899). He is also known for his ↑watercolour paintings, done mainly in France towards the end of his life.
